If you use Rohypnol at low doses it can make you:

Feel a bit like when you have started to get drunk
Do things you wouldn’t usually do
Feel very relaxed
Feel sick and throw up
Lose your balance and make you unsteady on your feet
Feel paranoid and scared

At high doses it can make you

See and hear things that aren’t here (Hallucinations)
Pass out
Unable to remember what has happened to you (amnesia)

Unable to stop someone attacking you and doing something to you that you don’t want

The difference between a low and high dose can be very small. The difference in effects can be massive and this can be very dangerous to both men and women.

The effects can last anything between 4 and 24 hours.

Rohypnol is actually the brand name for Flunitrazepam.
It is a tranquilliser (Benzodiazepine) that is similar to valium but ten times stronger.

It comes as oblong green, round white and diamond
purple shaped tablets. It can also come as an injectable
liquid.

It is usually swallowed but it can be snorted and injected.

Rohypnol is a physically addictive drug.

It is controlled under the Misuse of Drugs Act 1971. It is legal to possess but is a class C drug when it is supplied.

At high doses it causes retrograde amnesia. This means a person cannot remember where they have been, what they have done and what exactly has happened to them when the drug has worn off.

At lower doses users can find it difficult to move. If someone attacks them or does something to them that they don’t like they are powerless to stop it.

Rohypnol is one of the drugs that has been linked with date rape.
